Hello to all my past and future clients :) According to the 2015 CAHPI’s standard of practise, we are not required to inspect: 1. underground storage tanks or other underground indications or

of their presence, whether abandoned or active. Fair enough, but when I’m inspecting a home for you and I run across something like this, then it’s pretty evident that there is a oil tank present on the property. Sometimes it might not be this evident, for this tank is not buried, it’s just placed on it’s side, under the mobile home. (oil tanks not intended to be placed on their sides). Sometimes the evidence is only a vent pipe sticking out of the ground. Anyway, if I do run across something pointing to perhaps a oil tank on the property, I do let everybody concerned know about it.
